Little Finding Of The Week

littlefindingoftheweek.jpg

I’m starting a new tradition on this blog. It’s called “Little Finding of the Week”. What is it about? It’s exactly what the same suggests. If I find something that is remarkable and deserves a huge recognition, I’ll blog about it as the finding of the week.

So keep on the lookout for next week’s finding.

Preschool printables for your child

While I was in the Early Childhood Education program, I searched for many websites that had free printables and activities that I could use in the classroom. One of these websites I stumbled across was Preschool Printables.

They have a lot of useful things you can use at home with your child. The file folder games are my favourite. I used to have many file folder games with all sorts of games to play. All the children loved them and had so much fun completing the puzzles. They have pretty much one for every holiday and season. Print them out yourself and glue them onto a file folder. Don’t forget to get it laminated as it helps it last for many years to come.

Check it out. They are easily made and your child will have a blast playing with it!!

5 Tips For A Safe Halloween!

As most children are going trick-or-treating tonight, it’s important to stay safe. Here are my top five tips for staying safe this Halloween.

  1. Carry a flashlight and extra batteries.
  2. Check your candy before eating anything.
  3. Put reflective tape on your costume.
  4. Always walk with a group and never alone.
  5. Never enter a stranger’s house or vehicle.

Be safe and have fun. Happy Halloween!!
